Join Apples and Snakes for a super special set of FORKED! workshops in celebration of National Poetry Day at the B-Bar and Barbican Theatre!
Join Deanna Rodger, Rosy Carrick and Alexander Rhodes for three 30 minute power workshops followed by Artists talks and Q&A. Subjects will range from publishing, performance and writing tips to setting up and getting tech savvy.
International writer, performer and facilitator Deanna is a powerful voice in the spoken word scene with poems that are honest, current, direct and beautifully real.
Quick-witted, charismatic and full to the brim with surreal and disgusting imagination, Rosy Carrick’s eccentric style, dense rhyme structures and forceful imagery have won her international acclaim, as well as firmly cementing her place as one of the UK’s most unusual and exciting contemporary poets.
Inspired by the free thinking of the rave generation, Alexander Rhodes is a multiple slam winner and Host of premier Plymouth Spoken Word brand Pucker Poets and curator of the Pucker Poets Glas-Denbury Festival spoken Word Stage.
A collaboration with Pucker Poets, Funded by Arts Council England.
Tickets are extremely limited. After booking a ticket please email Gina to discuss arrangements for the day.
