We are Kicking off the Summer in style!
Come and join the party. We have so much to share! New poets and an exciting new format await!  As well as the best in Spoken Word we are making some changes. We feel it is time to lose the monthly slam from the regular pucker event and concentrate on building our yearly regional slam with @plymlit

In its place, we have a new Format. Our regular, high-quality headline act plus two regional support acts remain. To replace the slam we are introducing an exciting new feature:
Carefully selected poets and comedians will attempt to argue the toss over important issues and see who is victorious - Our first debate, as part of Summer Solstice, is:

"New Age Philosophies and Hippy Logic"
Find out more on the night!!

But First
Welcome Tina Sederholm, our Headline Performer and Workshop facilitator, to the Pucker Poets Stage.

Award-winning performance poet and raconteur Tina Sederholm is an intermittent idealist, reluctant feminist and recovering workaholic. An Edinburgh Fringe veteran, she has written four one-woman shows on subjects ranging from food fascism and the compulsion to be good, to how to make friends with money without jumping into bed with it, and performed them at festivals and theatres all over the country.

The latest, Everything Wrong With You is Beautiful, is based on her recently published collection of the same name. A multiple slam-winner and host of Bingo Bongo Spoken Word Cabaret in Oxford, she also works with writers and performers of all stripes, helping them blast through blocks and editing manuscripts with a firm but friendly touch.

Kat Savage @fiercesister
Kat is frontwoman for the band Oxe Eye Daisies, an animal activist who has just walked from Lands End to John O'Groats to raise funds and awareness for the plight of captive animals in Asia. On top of all of that, she is a powerful poetic force.
